Discovered: Deep Sea Mineral That Lowers Blood Pressure?

"New study reveals how to safely lower your blood pressure within 6 weeks - without drugs, exercise or changing your diet."

In a new study scientists took a group of patients with damaged artery walls and divided them into two groups. One group became the placebo. The other group was given a daily dose of this natural breakthrough. Both groups made NO changes to their lifestyle.

After six weeks both groups of patients were assessed by the scientists. In the placebo group there was no change. BUT when the patients taking this natural breakthrough were assessed, the scientists were astonished.

That's because the patients' blood flow had increased by 50%.
Yes that's right, 50%.
Their narrowed arteries were able to dilate much more easily so the blood could flow through them unrestricted.

Blood pressure (BP), sometimes referred to as arterial blood pressure, is the pressure exerted by circulating blood upon the walls of blood vessels, and is one of the principal vital signs. When used without further specification, "blood pressure" usually refers to the arterial pressure of the systemic circulation. During each heartbeat, blood pressure varies between a maximum (systolic) and a minimum (diastolic) pressure.[1] The blood pressure in the circulation is principally due to the pumping action of the heart.[2] Differences in mean blood pressure are responsible for blood flow from one location to another in the circulation. The rate of mean blood flow depends on the resistance to flow presented by the blood vessels. Mean blood pressure decreases as the circulating blood moves away from the heart through arteries and capillaries due to viscous losses of energy. Mean blood pressure drops over the whole circulation, although most of the fall occurs along the small arteries and arterioles.[3] Gravity affects blood pressure via hydrostatic forces (e.g., during standing) and valves in veins, breathing, and pumping from contraction of skeletal muscles also influence blood pressure in veins.[2] Blood pressure without further specification usually refers to the systemic arterial pressure measured at a person's upper arm and is a measure of the pressure in the brachial artery, the major artery in the upper arm. A persons blood pressure is usually expressed in terms of the systolic pressure over diastolic pressure and is measured in millimetres of mercury (mmHg), for example 120/80.

"And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, General Ham, General Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation."The State Department Accountability Review Board, which investigated the attack and what led up to it, also claimed that "Washington-Tripoli-Benghazi communication, cooperation, and coordination on the night of the attacks were effective."But one source told Fox News there was "not good communication" between State and Defense "on any level."

This week a person was arrested at the airport of the capital, Maputo, in possession of nine rhino horns, Soto said. The price of rhino horn has overtaken the price of gold as demand has burgeoned in Asian countries, mainly China and Vietnam, where consumers wrongly believe that the horn made of the same substance as fingernails has powerful healing properties. Chinese traditional medicine prescribes it for everything from typhoid, infant convulsions and fever to an antidote for poison and to relieve arthritis and cure possessions by the devil. Syndicates from Vietnam, China, South Korea and Thailand have been identified as being involved in the trafficking.Knight said rhinos first became extinct in Mozambique around the turn of the last century, in the age of the big white hunters, when the animals also nearly disappeared in South Africa, which is now home to 90 percent of Africa's estimated 20,000 white rhinos and 4,880 black rhinos. In 2002, leaders of Mozambique, South Africa and Zimbabwe agreed to establish a transfrontier park straddling their borders and covering some 35,000 square kilometers (13,514 square miles) of the best established wildlife areas in southern Africa with South Africa's famed Kruger National Park and Zimbabwe's Gonarezhou National Park. It is funded by several international wildlife organizations and the European Union.Soto said some 5,000 animals of various species were translocated from South Afri

A credit score is a numerical expression based on a level analysis of a person's credit files, to represent the creditworthiness of that person. A credit score is primarily based on credit report information typically sourced from credit bureaus. Lenders, such as banks and credit card companies, use credit scores to evaluate the potential risk posed by lending money to consumers and to mitigate losses due to bad debt. Lenders use credit scores to determine who qualifies for a loan, at what interest rate, and what credit limits. Lenders also use credit scores to determine which customers are likely to bring in the most revenue. The use of credit or identity scoring prior to authorizing access or granting credit is an implementation of a trusted system. Credit scoring is not limited to banks. Other organizations, such as mobile phone companies, insurance companies, landlords, and government departments employ the same techniques. Credit scoring also has a lot of overlap with data mining, which uses many similar techniques. These techniques combine thousands of factors but they are more or less similar or the same.

A home warranty is a contractual agreement provided to an owner of a house by any of a number of different types of entities such as home builders, risk management groups, or others. The home warranty industry was founded in 1971 by American Home Shield.[1] In the strictest legal sense a warranty of any kind within the United States must adhere to guidelines set at the states' and federal government's levels. But the words are not always used explicitly to mean a legal warranty is being conveyed. In many cases, at least in the United States, a home warranty is not a warranty at all but rather a home service contract[2] that covers the repair and/or replacement costs of home appliances, major systems such as heating and cooling, and possibly other components of a home, structural or otherwise. The home service contract generally covers equipment and appliances, such as dishwashers, plumbing systems, and electrical systems, that fail due to normal wear and tear. Coverage varies significantly across home warranty companies. Home warranty contracts do not cover all home repairs.

Diabetes mellitus, or simply diabetes, is a group of metabolic diseases in which a person has high blood sugar, either because the pancreas does not produce enough insulin, or because cells do not respond to the insulin that is produced.[2] This high blood sugar produces the classical symptoms of polyuria (frequent urination), polydipsia (increased thirst) and polyphagia (increased hunger). There are three main types of diabetes mellitus (DM). Type 1 DM results from the body's failure to produce insulin, and currently requires the person to inject insulin or wear an insulin pump. This form was previously referred to as "insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus" (IDDM) or "juvenile diabetes". Type 2 DM results from insulin resistance, a condition in which cells fail to use insulin properly, sometimes combined with an absolute insulin deficiency. This form was previously referred to as non insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) or "adult-onset diabetes". The third main form, gestational diabetes occurs when pregnant women without a previous diagnosis of diabetes develop a high blood glucose level. It may precede development of type 2 DM. Other forms of diabetes mellitus include congenital diabetes, which is due to genetic defects of insulin secretion, cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, steroid diabetes induced by high doses of glucocorticoids, and several forms of monogenic diabetes.

The wealthy Pritzker family, most famous for owning the Hyatt hotel chain, began divesting the family's assets in late 2001 following the death of Jay Pritzker. Notable major divestitures include Hyatt Hotels Corp. public in 2009 and selling majority stake in TransUnion in 2010.[1] In April 2010, the Pritzker family, with Penny Pritzker as TransUnion Chair, sold controlling interest of TransUnion to a new majority owner, the Chicago-based private-equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners.[2] Madison Dearborn Partners acquired 51 percent stake in TransUnion, and the Pritzker family maintained 49 percent ownership. Myocardial infarction (MI) or acute myocardial infarction (AMI), is the medical term for an event commonly known as a heart attack. It happens when blood stops flowing properly to part of the heart and the heart muscle is injured due to not getting enough oxygen. Usually this is because one of the coronary arteries that supplies blood to the heart develops a blockage due to an unstable buildup of cholesterol and fat and white blood cells. Typical symptoms of acute myocardial infarction include sudden retrosternal chest pain (typically radiating to the left arm or left side of the neck), shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, palpitations, sweating, and anxiety (often described as a sense of impending doom).[1] Women may experience fewer typical symptoms than men, most commonly shortness of breath, weakness, a feeling of indigestion, and fatigue.[2] A sizeable proportion of myocardial infarctions (2264%)[3] are "silent", that is without chest pain or other symptoms. A number of diagnostic tests are available to detect heart muscle damage including, an electrocardiogram (ECG), echocardiography, cardiac MRI and various blood tests. The most often used blood markers are the creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) fraction and the troponin levels. Immediate treatment for suspected acute myocardial infarction includes oxygen, aspirin, and sublingual nitroglycerin.[4]
By a 54-41 percent margin, American voters would get rid of the sweeping 2010 health care law if given the option, according to a new Fox News poll. The poll, released Wednesday, also shows most voters -- 71 percent -- think the more than 15,000 pages of regulations that implement the Affordable Care Act, popularly known as Obamacare, are way over the top. Some 19 percent say that number of pages seems about right. The concern about the small mountain of health care rules is bipartisan. Even 56 percent of Democrats call the 15,000 pages of regulations way over the top, as do 71 percent of independents and 87 percent of Republicans. As for the law itself, the poll asks people what they would do with it if there were an up-or-down vote today. While a 54-percent majority would repeal the law, 41 percent would keep it in place. Thats mostly unchanged from two years ago, when 56 percent said they would cancel it and 39 percent wanted the law to remain (January 2011).On the law itself views are divided along partisan lines. By a 48 percentage-point margin, most Democrats favor keeping Obamacare (72-24 percent), while Republicans favor repealing it by an even wider 77-point margin (87-10 percent). Independents also favor repeal, but by a narrower 16-point margin (53-37 percent).Voters give President Obama negative ratings on health care. By a 10-point margin, more disapprove (53 percent) than approve (43 percent) of his job performance. Thats the
ial activities."Roughly half the department budget pays staff, which is far more than at other agencies. The department argues that the sequester cuts, then, have a significant impact on services -- seasonal hiring, for instance, had to be drastically cut back, which impacts programs at national parks. Federal agencies have each responded differently to the sequester. The Federal Aviation Administration rattled lawmakers after it furloughed air traffic controllers, leading to delays at major U.S. airports. Congress, though, intervened by allowing the FAA to move money around, in turn canceling those furloughs. The private business community also has stepped in. At Yellowstone National Park, two cities stepped up when the National Park Service decided to save money by plowing snow two weeks later than usual. This would have delayed the clearing of four park gates well past the typical May 1 opening, so city officials held a fundraiser and collected enough money to pay the state to clear the roads, ensuring the gates will be open on time.Coburn cited this as a positive example in his letter, and urged the department to find more savings."I believe the Department can continue to maintain this same level access even under sequestration," he wrote. "To accomplish this, the Department must prioritize its core mission, eliminate unnecessary, wasteful, and duplicative programs, and find innovative ways to do more with less."

For the 85 to 90 percent of Americans who already have health insurance, this thing has already happened. And their only impact is that their insurance is stronger, better, more secure than it was before. Full stop. Thats it. They dont have to worry about anything else.-- President Obama at a press conferencePresident Obama had some gnarly news for the Democratic campaign committees: This is as good as it gets for his signature health law.In a press conference on the 100th day of his second term, Obama found himself on the defensive and short on answers. Syria genocide? Were looking into it. Benhgazi whistleblowers? Never heard of them. Intelligence gaps on the Boston Marathon bombing? This is hard stuff.Presidents usually dont have press conferences unless they have something they want to say, especially Obama who much prefers batting practice to swinging at fastballs when it comes to media queries. So why did insular Obama step to the podium on Tuesday if he didnt have more definitive answers to the pile of policy and political questions reporters would surely lay at his feet? Had he wanted to push a topic, Obama might have just beckoned Steve Kroft or Matt Lauer back to the White House. The reason for the press conference instead seemed to be for Obama to assert that despite a string of defeats, he is still relevant. Having been twice brushed back by Senate Democrats and with his second-term agenda looking like a dead letter, Obama wan

rding to the Inspector Generals report, ECOtality was required to kick in a minimum of 20 percent of cost sharing under the $35 million in grants, and under the $100 million award, it was to match the taxpayer subsidy. But the DOE allowed ECOtality to use monthly costs of car owners and other expenses it did not directly incur to leverage the federal funds. That meant the company took on little risk in return for its subsidies, the report said.Although there is no clear legislative history on the meaning behind requiring recipients to provide cost-share, the concept is generally understood to mitigate risk, help leverage federal investments, and ensure that recipients have some skin in the game in these kinds of transactions, the IG report said.ECOtality planned a full rollout of charging stations in five major metro areas to address one of the biggest problems facing the market for electric cars range anxiety, or fear that owners wont be able to easily charge them. The goal, according to the report, was for government to stimulate the installation of so many chargers at commercial and residential locations, that places to re-power cars would be nearly as ubiquitous as gas stations. But weak demand for the electric cars resulted in a diminished need for chargers and the DOE and ECOtality sought to reach the 15,000-charging station goal by spreading the program to five more markets. The company also went heavier on home-chargers for in

One exhibit is a blood-stained gray shirt that belonged to a slain protester. It is emblazoned with, "He left his shirt to you. Don't leave his president."During a funeral, a weeping wife took the stage at Rabaah to recount the last words of her late husband, telling the crowd how he saw the Prophet Muhammad in his sleep and was invited to hold prayers with him."You think I am lying? I swear to God, no," the wife said as she wept. Her words triggered chants of "No God but Allah" while many of her listeners held back tears.Photos of bloodied faces of slain protesters are posted in every corner and tent. Some banners provide information such as the dead demonstrator's background, hometown and profession."The more blood spilled, the more people join in," said Saad el-Husseini, a former governor of Kafr el-Sheikh province and prominent Muslim Brotherhood figure. The security forces "are very stupid because they don't take gradual measures in their repression."But the group is facing a bigger challenge than state repression: loss of popular support. Last week, millions marched in demonstrations giving a mandate to charismatic military chief Gen. Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi upon his request to confront "terrorism" and potential violence.Losing public sympathy in Egypt, the Rabaah tent city is plastered with signs in English appealing to the outside world. A large banner reads: "No to military rule." Many tents bear signs that suggest the pro

In 1982, TransUnion was acquired as a subsidiary of Marmon Group, a holding company formed by Jay Pritzker and Robert Pritzker. It was spun off as a separate company under Pritzker control in 2005. The wealthy Pritzker family, most famous for owning the Hyatt hotel chain, began divesting the family's assets in late 2001 following the death of Jay Pritzker. Notable major divestitures include Hyatt Hotels Corp. public in 2009 and selling majority stake in TransUnion in 2010.[1] In April 2010, the Pritzker family, with Penny Pritzker as TransUnion Chair, sold controlling interest of TransUnion to a new majority owner, the Chicago-based private-equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners.[2] Madison Dearborn Partners acquired 51 percent stake in TransUnion, and the Pritzker family maintained 49 percent ownership. uno argues its time the state get on board with a plan that he claims can help up to 100 homeless Hawaiians a year.In 2010, Mizuno along with state Rep. Rida Cabanilla failed to sway lawmakers. But what they did next shocked many. Both Mizuno and Cabanilla started soliciting funds to send the homeless away anyway on a case-by-case basis. Mizuno chipped in $100 of his own money to buy a one-way plane ticket to send homeless man Gregory Reese back to Seattle, Wash. That didnt sit well with John Fox, director of the Seattle Displacement Coalition, who told the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, he had never heard of elected officials using their own money to send a homeless person back to his or her home state. But Hawaiis relocation plan isnt a new idea. It is fashioned after a New York City program implemented six years ago. The Mayor Michael Bloomberg-backed plan bought hundreds of homeless families bus tickets, train rides and airfare so they could leave the city.According to the latest figures available, New York City spent at least $500,000 annually on Project Reconnect. From 2007 to 2009, the Bloomberg administration, which has struggled with homelessness, sent more than 550 families packing. They argue that sending away families is a lot less expensive than housing them in shelters which cost the city more than $36,000 a year per family. In Baton Rouge, La., the citys Metro Council approved a measure to send its 800 homeless residents out of

Thats the

Women who take contraceptive pills containing drospirenone have a six- to sevenfold risk of developing thromboembolism (dangerous blood clots) compared to women who do not take any contraceptive pill, and have twice the risk (some epidemiological studies suggest thrice, according to the FDA) compared to women who take a contraceptive pill containing levonorgestrel, though the actual risk is small, in the neighborhood of 9 to 27 out of 10,000 women on an oral contraceptive for a year (up to 9 for levonorgestrel vs up to 27 for drospirenone, or about 0.09% vs 0.3% per year.)[3] Drospirenone can increase potassium to dangerous levels (hyperkalemia).[4] It could be dangerous or, in extreme cases, even fatal to certain women taking other drugs that also may increase potassium levels, such as ACE inhibitors, angiotensin-II receptor agonists, potassium-sparing diuretics, potassium supplementation, heparin, aldosterone antagonists, and NSAIDs. Yasmin was the first oral contraceptive that used drospirenone, and Yaz, the best-selling oral contraceptive in the US, also contains drospirenone. The labels for all contraceptives containing drospirenone warn that the drugs should not be used by women with hepatic dysfunction, renal insufficiency, or adrenal insufficiency. Like all oral contraceptives, these birth control pills should also not be used by women who smoke or have a history of DVT, stroke, or other blood clots. Calling for an end to "old stereotypes," President Obama on Friday portrayed Mexico as an emerging nation that is remaking itself and said the U.S.-Mexico relationship should be defined by shared prosperity, not by threats that both countries face. "It's time to recognize new realities," he declared. In a speech to a predominantly student audience, Obama conceded that the root of much violence in Mexico is the demand for drugs in the United States, and acknowledged that most guns used to commit crime in this country come from the U.S. But he said an improving economy is changing Mexico and improving its middle class."I see a Mexico that is deepening your democracy," he told several hundred people gathered on a cool, breezy morning in a covered, outdoor plaza at Mexico City's grand National Museum of Anthropology. "Citizens who are standing up and saying that violence and impunity is not acceptable."Obama said he is optimistic that the U.S. will change its patchwork of immigration laws and says the current immigration system does not reflect U.S. values. With about 6 million Mexicans illegally in the United States, the issue resonates deeply in Mexico, which has also seen deportations of its citizens from the U.S. rise dramatically under Obama.Underlying Obama's visit was his desire to convince the American public and U.S. lawmakers that Mexico no longer poses the illegal immigration threat it once did."The long-term solution to the chall
MEXICO CITY Mexico's governmental rights commission says 84 journalists have been killed in Mexico since 2000, and 20 more have disappeared since 2005.The National Human Rights commission says there have been 39 attacks on journalists' offices or equipment since 2005.Only 12 cases have resulted in convictions, meaning 91 percent have gone unpunished. The commission said Friday that charges have been brought in 15 other cases, but the cases were apparently either dismissed or are still in trial. The commission said the largest number of attacks have occurred in Mexico City, Veracruz, Chiapas, Mexico State and Chihuahua. The agency called on the government to investigate the crimes, because impunity encouraged further attacks.

Online dating (OD) or Internet dating is a dating system which allows individuals to make contact and communicate with each other over the Internet, usually with the objective of developing a personal, romantic, or sexual relationship. Online dating services usually provide unmoderated matchmaking over the Internet, through the use of personal computers or cell phones. Online dating services generally require a prospective member to provide personal information, before they can search the service provider's database for other individuals using criteria they set, such as age range, gender and location. Online dating sites use market metaphor[clarification needed] to properly match people up.[1] Most sites allow members to upload photos of themselves and browse the photos of others. Sites may offer additional services, such as webcasts, online chat, telephone chat (VOIP), and message boards. Some sites provide free registration, but may offer services which require a monthly fee. Other sites depend on advertising for their revenue. And some sites such as Badoo are free and then offer additional paid services in a freemium revenue model.[2] Many sites are broad-based, with members coming from a variety of backgrounds looking for different types of relationships. Other sites are more specific, based on the type of members, interests, location, or relationship desired. A 2005 study of data collected by the Pew Internet & American Life Project found that individuals are more likely to use an online dating service if they use the internet for a greater amount of tasks and less likely to use such a service if they are trusting of others.[3]
RAMALLAH, West Bank Disagreements that blocked Israeli-Palestinian negotiations for the past five years have not been fully resolved, despite U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry's recent announcement of progress, and there's no clear path to a resumption of talks.Palestinian officials said Sunday their key demand remains: Ahead of any talks, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must accept Israel's pre-1967 frontier as the starting point for drawing the border of a future state of Palestine. They say Kerry's renewed endorsement of that frontier as a baseline in closed-door talks is not enough, and that they need to hear from Netanyahu himself. It's not clear if this amounts to last-minute maneuvering or if the Palestinians will walk away if Netanyahu refuses to accept that formula, as he has done repeatedly. On Sunday, Netanyahu's right-wing allies were adamant that Israel would not budge, and Netanyahu appeared to be trying to lower expectations about any future negotiations.Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is skeptical of Netanyahu's willingness to negotiate in good faith, suspecting the Israeli hard-liner is more interested in a peace "process" as an antidote to Israel's international isolation than in an actual deal.Abbas has strong reasons to return to the table, however, even if it's not on his terms. He can ill afford to rebuff the U.S. and Europe, the financial backers of his self-rule government, the perpetually cash-stra

It was the second trip in two years to the site by the team, some of whom had been searching for the lost U-boat for two decades.Using side-scan sonar, the seven-man team located the wreck listing to its side in deep water about 70 miles south of Nantucket.Sonar operator Garry Kozak said he spotted the 252-foot submarine during the second of an exhausting two days of searching. Kozak said the team asked him if they'd found it, then erupted in joy without a word from him."They could see it with the grin (on my face) and the look in my eyes," Kozak said.On April 16, 1944, the U-550 torpedoed the gasoline tanker SS Pan Pennsylvania, which had lagged behind its protective convoy as it set out with 140,000 barrels of gasoline for Great Britain, according to the U.S. Coast Guard website and research by Mazraani. The U-boat slipped under the doomed tanker to hide. Government involvement (and gullibility) alone doesn't legitimize what is clearly a pseudoscience that ranks alongside astrology, ghost hunting, and "telekinetic" spoon-bending.As with any pseudoscience, there are no physical underpinnings to the outlandish claims of remote viewing. In other words, no natural particles or fields capable of carrying information into the human brain, independently from the five senses, have ever been quantitatively measured in a physics laboratory. And, as is typical of a pseudoscience, remote viewing claims contradict fundamental physics such as the speed of light barrier and causality. The Pluto ChallengeFor any readers who think I'm being scientifically elitist, narrow-minded or protective, I'm presenting one simple challenge. Revolutionary 2-in-1 hose expands and contracts

A hose is a hollow tube designed to carry fluids from one location to another. Hoses are also sometimes called pipes (the word pipe usually refers to a rigid tube, whereas a hose is usually a flexible one), or more generally tubing. The shape of a hose is usually cylindrical (having a circular cross section). Hose design is based on a combination of application and performance. Common factors are Size, Pressure Rating, Weight, Length, Straight hose or Coilhose and Chemical Compatibility. Hoses are made from one or a combination of many different materials. Applications mostly use nylon, polyurethane, polyethylene, PVC, or synthetic or natural rubbers, based on the environment and pressure rating needed. In recent years, hoses can also be manufactured from special grades of polyethylene (LDPE and especially LLDPE). Other hose materials include PTFE (Teflon), stainless steel and other metals. h rebels were preparing attacks in retaliation for recent military assaults on the guerrillas. The military said drones had detected a group approaching Turkey, apparently at a mountain pass that the rebels have used to smuggle weapons into Turkey, and that the military conducted strikes in areas where the rebels have bases far away from civilian settlements.Pro-Kurdish legislator Nazmi Gur said earlier that most of those killed were teenagers making a living out of smuggling from Iraq into Turkey and claimed that officials should have known that Turkish smugglers would be operating in the area.Video footage provided by Dogan on Thursday morning showed mourners, some crying, as they surrounded more than a dozen bodies that lay side-by-side and wrapped in blankets in the Turkish village of Ortasu.Ahmet Deniz, a spokesman for the Kurdistan Workers' Party, as the rebel group is known, said earlier that the victims were among a group of about 50 people attacked on th
